Madelin McKinney had everything going for her.  She owned her own small business, had a nice apartment, a great family that were all members of the Free Scots performing group and a handsome (maybe too handsome) boyfriend.

Everything was going pretty well until that painfully fatal humpty-dumpty scene.  Nothing would or could be fixed to make it all better.

Krystal, the colorful morning DJ Madelin had been listening to before the crash became part of the story.

Madelin was angry about being injured and snagged into something that looked so shady.  She was committed to figure this out and why it had happened.

The local Police Detective Russ Shapiro and the FBI had been investigating the group involved.  He cautioned her to let him and his team take the lead because these were some bad actors.  Shapiro assured Madelin they would keep her informed and protected along with her family.

The McKinney family and friends end up playing parts in this story of action, drama, humor and romance.
